A two-year-old girl who fell three-and-a-half stories from a building in Chelsea was in good condition Monday night at Massachusetts General Hospital, a police spokesman said.
Chelsea Police Captain Keith Houghton said emergency responders went to 63 Washington Ave. at 6:39 p.m., where a girl fell from a window.
“It appeared that it was a child playing in a bed and one of the beds abutted the window,” Houghton said. The girl fell into a rear alley and was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, he said.
Houghton said the incident is being treated as an accident.
Last week, a toddler died after she fell from the third floor of an apartment in Fall River.
