Body of man pulled from Charles River near the Longfellow Bridge

The body of a man was recovered this morning from the Charles River in Boston near the Longfellow Bridge, State Police said.
A spokesman said the body was recovered by the State Police marine unit around 9 a.m. after an onlooker reported seeing it in the river.
The death is under investigation by Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office. The state medical examiner’s office is expected to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
