Man critically injured after being shot in head in Fall River

A man in his 30s was shot in the head in Fall River Saturday evening, according to Fall River police.
The man, who has not yet been identified, was shot and critically wounded around 5:30 p.m. at 140 Grove St., said Fall River police Lieutenant Michael Pleiss. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, he said.
Police have a suspect in custody, but do not yet know the motive behind the shooting, said Pleiss.
The incident is still under investigation and no further information was readily available.
