A man in his mid-20s was shot and killed early Sunday morning in downtown Boston near the waterfront, according to Boston Police.
Officers responded at about 2:20 a.m. to a call for shots fired in the area of Broad Street and Surface Road and found the victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and High Street, police said in a statement.
The victim was taken to Tufts Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, the statement said.
Detectives have interviewed a male suspect who is believed to be involved in the shooting, police spokesman Officer James Kenneally said.
