Brockton man robbed in morning home invasion
A Brockton man was robbed of cash Sunday morning by three men brandishing knives who invaded his first-floor apartment in a multifamily home at 94 Highland St., police said.
Brockton Police Lieutenant Robert Sergio said the men entered the apartment around 9:42 a.m., demanded money from the resident, a man who was home alone, and then fled on foot into the densely populated area. No one was injured.
The victim did not know the thieves, Sergio said, and there have been no similar crimes in the area.
Police were unable to say exactly how much money the thieves took and currently have no leads. Sergio said police are not releasing the victim’s identity due to the nature of the crime.Jeremy C. Fox can be reached at email@example.com. Follow him on Twitter @jeremycfox.
