Man in critical condition after Dorchester shooting

A man is in critical condition after he was shot early Saturday morning in Dorchester, Boston Police said in a statement.
At approximately 2:25 a.m., police responded to a radio call for a person shot at 3 Oakhurst St. in Dorchester. The male victim, who was in his twenties, was “suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound,” the statement said.
He was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is investigating the case. No further details were available.
