Farmer retrieves two balky bulls that wandered out on I-195 in Dartmouth

The two stubborn bulls
Commuters on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth were shocked to see two bulls on the eastbound side of the roadway this morning, police said.
State Police received a call at 7:30 a.m. that the two stubborn animals were blocking the right travel lane of the highway, said Trooper Todd Nolan, a State Police spokesman.
Troopers called a local farmer, who responded to the scene with a trailer to pick up the cattle, Nolan said.
The animals were removed from the traffic lane by 8:30 a.m. and traffic is now flowing.
“I know it’s not fairly common out here, but out in the western part of the state … it’s not an uncommon occurrence for troopers to go out and have to try to corral horses or cattle and get them off the roadway,” Nolan said.
