Woman’s body found in Jamaica Pond

Boston police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in Jamaica Pond today.
Police say no fouil play was involved in the death of a woman found floating in Jamaica Pond this morning, Boston police said.
The body was found at 7:49 a.m. today in the Jamaica Plain pond and recovered by police. The woman was wearing black shorts and a yellow top, police said.
A preliminary investigation found no weapons were recovered from the scene; the case is considered a “non-homicide,” police said.
Detectives are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
No further information was immediately available.
