Boston police are looking for suspects involved in a predawn shooting today in the Boston Public Garden, a prominent green space nestled in the heart of the city.
Officers discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound around 4:16 a.m., police said. The man is believed to be in his 50s.
The victim was transported to Tufts Medical Center and is in stable condition with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police spokesman Cheryl Fiandaca said.
The Public Garden, with its pond and Swan Boats, fountains, and statuary was created in 1837.
