An 82-year-old West Roxbury woman missing for more than a day was found on Sunday, just a short distance from her home, Boston police said. Teresa Lacey, who is suffering from dementia, left her home at 9 Vogel St. in West Roxbury around 11 a.m. Saturday, her family told police.
Lacey was found by family members around noon at 2379 Centre Street, near the West Roxbury Crushed Stone quarry site. She was transported to Faulkner Hospital for evaluation, but a Boston police spokeswoman was unable to say if she had suffered any injuries.
