Boston University officials today offered a $10,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest following a string of four armed robberies on or near the campus in a little over two weeks.

BU, Brookline, and Boston police also released video footage of three men believed to be suspects in one of the armed robberies.

Two of the robberies are believed to have been committed by the same suspects. Police have yet to determine whether the other two are linked.

In a news conference at Brookline police headquarters, police and school officials urged students to be vigilant and cautious.

The four armed robberies, which have put the BU community on edge, were committed between Sept. 23 and Tuesday.

In each case, the alleged robbers have been described as either two or three black males in their late teens or early 20s wearing sweatshirts. The suspects have either shown or pointed a gun at the victims. Smart phones, cash, wallets, laptops, keys, and credit and debit cards have been stolen. No injuries have been reported.

In the most recent crime, a female BU student said she was robbed around 8:30 p.m. while walking on campus steps from Commonwealth Avenue, according to Brookline Police.
