Suspect in assault on child arrested by Transit Police at Downtown Crossing station
A Hyde Park man with outstanding warrants for allegedly assaulting a child was arrested by Transit Police detectives Thursday night in the Downtown Crossing station, Transit Police said.
Keith Grace, 20, held warrants out of Brookline District Court for assault and battery on a child with injuries, reckless endangerment of a child, intimidation, and assault and battery, Transit Police said.
Grace was traveling with Angela Blomquist, 32, of Hyde Park, who also had an outstanding warrant for uttering, issued from Boston Municipal Court, Transit Police said.
Officers placed both under arrest around 6 p.m.
Grace and Blomquist are expected to appear in their respective courts today.
In an separate incident, Transit Police also arrested William Lahme, 55, of Boston who had two outstanding warrants out of Ayer District Court. Lahme was observed attempting to avoid paying fare at Park Street station before his arrest, Transit Police said.
Lahme is facing charges of operating under the influence second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property, and breaking and entering, Transit Police said.Sarah N. Mattero can be reached at email@example.com.
