The Boston University student who was killed by a car while riding his bicycle Monday evening has been identified, Boston police said.
Officers responded around 6:40 p.m. to Brighton and Harvard avenues to find Chung-Wei Yang, 21, seriously injured, police said.
Boston EMS took Yang to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police investigations suggested an MBTA bus did come in contact with Yang, but neither the driver nor the passengers knew anyone was struck. No charges have been filed.
The incident is still under investigation. Boston police asked that anyone with additional information call homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
