Boston man and Lynn woman arrested with crack cocaine in Hyannis, police say
Police arrested a Boston man and a Lynn woman for drug possession in Hyannis Friday night, Barnstable police said in a statement.
At about 10:45 p.m., officers from Barnstable and Yarmouth pulled over a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe with a broken tail light driven by Frantzy Cambrone, 21, of Boston, with passenger Sylvia N. Fawehinmi, 19, of Lynn, police said.
Fawehinmi carried a small bag of crack cocaine, police said, and Cambrone had 12 small bags of crack and one Percocet pill.
Fawehinmi was charged with possession of a class B drug. Cambrone was charged with two counts of possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute and with operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment.
Cambrone is serving two years’ probation after a 2012 conviction for witness intimidation, police said. He is being held on $5,000 bail and will be arraigned Monday.
