Man shot in Chelsea, suffers life-threatening injuries

A man was shot on Blossom Street in Chelsea Tuesday night and suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney’s office.

The victim was shot at 9 p.m. and taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, Wark said.

Officials were searching Tuesday night for multiple potential suspects, according to State Police spokesman David Procopio. State and Chelsea police responded to the scene, Procopio said.
