Death investigated at Danville, N.H., police chief’s home

New Hampshire State Police are investigating an “untimely death” Monday evening at the home of the Danville, N.H., police chief.

At 7:15 p.m. Monday, Danville and State Police responded to a 911 call at 53 Caramel Drive in Danville, owned by Police Chief Wade Parsons. State Police said today their investigation at Parsons’ home focused on “an untimely death which occurred at the residence.”

Neither the name nor the age of the deceased person has been released, and the cause of death has not been determined, Lieutenant Chris Vetter, a State Police spokesman, said in an e-mail. There is no danger to the community, he said.

Parsons’ 1½-story, three-bedroom home was built in 1992, according to assessor’s records, and sits on a 2.2-acre wooded parcel of land.

Danville is an hour north of Boston, and roughly half an hour east of Manchester. It is home to just over 4,300 residents, according to the 2010 Census.
