Stabbings reported in Revere and Dorchester
At least three people were injured in stabbing incidents Saturday night in Dorchester and Revere, authorities said.
In Revere, police responded shortly after 11 p.m. to a fight at 354 Broadway, according to Lieutenant Michael McLaughlin.
“There was a fight involved and more than one person has been cut,” said McLaughlin, who said the victims were taken to Massachsuetts General Hospital. He said he did not know the seriousness of the injuries.
Earlier in the evening, a male victim was transported to Boston Medical Center after being stabbed near the intersection of Dorchester Avenue and Dracut Street in Dorchester, said Boston Police spokesman Officer James Kenneally. He said the stabbing occurred around 9:30 p.m., but had no further details.
About a block away, at 1944 Dorchester Ave., there was a separate stabbing, according to an officer who answered the phone at the Dorchester police station.
The officer had no further details, except that neither of the stabbings in Dorchester was life-threatening
