Ambulance involved in South End crash

The ambulance ended up next to a building at 1091 Boylston St. after the accident.
An ambulance and a motor vehicle crashed in the South End early this afternoon, Boston police said.
At 1:20 p.m., dispatchers received a call for a crash involving an ambulance at Boylston and Ipswich streets, near Hemenway Street. The accident took place at an intersection adjacent to the Berklee College of Music.
It’s not clear whether other vehicles might have been involved or whether anyone was injured, though no one was transported to the hospital, police said.
As of 1:45 p.m., officials were still at the scene, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
