Mansfield man involved in NH crash that killed woman, injured 13-year-old boy
A Mansfield man was involved in an early morning car crash in Claremont, N.H. that killed a 42-year-old Vermont woman and left her 13-year-old passenger seriously injured, according to a statement from the Claremont Police Department.
Luke Garlinger, 29, of Mansfield was driving his Toyota Tacoma east on Main Street shortly after midnight, when he veered into the opposite lane and collided with a Pontiac minivan, according to police.
The driver of the minivan, 42-year-old Shellie Blaisdell of Windsor, Vt. was taken to Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont and later died from her injuries, according to the statement.
Her passenger, a 13-year-old boy, was also taken to Valley Regional Hospital, where he was being treated for serious injuries, said the statement. Garlinger was also treated there before being transferred to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
