Two people shot on Woodrow Avenue in Dorchester tonight, Boston police say
Two people were shot in Dorchester this evening, according to Boston police.
The shooting occurred near the intersection of Woodrow Avenue and Lauriat Street in Dorchester around 6:30 p.m., said Officer Neva Coakley, a spokeswoman for the Boston police.
The extent of the injuries were not immediately available, but homicide detectives have been dispatched to the scene, an indicator that police fear the injuries could be life-threatening for at least one of the wounded persons.
