Two women were transported to the hospital after their car collided with a Boston public schools bus this morning in Mattapan, officials said.
The car and bus crashed just before 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of Cummins Highway near Wood Avenue, Boston fire and police officials said. It’s not clear who hit whom, Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald said.
None of the children on the school bus were injured, MacDonald said.
The women were transported to Carney Hospital in Dorchester with minor injuries, MacDonald and Boston EMS spokeswoman Jennifer Mehigan said.
Boston police are investigating the incident.
