A South Boston man has been charged with trying to transport thousands of oxycodone pills on a bus trip from New York City to Boston, according to the Suffolk district attorney’s office. Police conducted a luggage check on the Lucky Star bus, which had arrived at South Station just before 9 a.m. on April 3, and noticed that one passenger, Gregory Horne, 31, appeared “visibly nervous,” the district attorney’s office said in a statement. Police found an overstuffed Skittles bag containing more than 3,000 pills on the floor near where Horne had been sitting, Conley’s office said. Horne pleaded not guilty to a charge of trafficking in a Class B substance at his arraignment on April 11 in Boston Municipal Court.
