Indian restaurant in Central Square in Cambridge damaged in two-alarm fire

A two-alarm fire tore through an Indian restaurant in Cambridge’s Central Square early today, according to the Cambridge Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the India Pavilion restaurant at 17 Central Square just before 6 a.m., a Cambridge fire official said. By 6:30 a.m., the fire was knocked down.
Investigators were still on the scene just before 8 a.m. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No further information was immediately available.
No injuries were reported.
