Man shot to death and woman wounded during shooting in Roxbury apartment, Boston police say
A man was shot to death and a woman wounded in a double shooting early today in a Roxbury apartment, Boston police said.
A police spokeswoman said officers responded to a report of a person screaming in an apartment on 41 Prentiss St. at 12:42 a.m. and found a man fatally wounded and a woman with a gunshot wound.
Authorities said the man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was taken to Brigham and Woman’s Hospital. Her condition was not released.
Police said there have been no arrests in the case. The fatal shooting was the 12th homicide in Boston this year. There were 15 murders in Boston at this time last year.
