Boston police release video, photos of man wanted for questioning in Beacon Hill groping

Boston police have released a new video and still photos of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a recent broad daylight Beacon Hill sexual assault and are asking for the public’s help identifying him.

Officers responded to a call for a sexual assault near Anderson Street just after 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, police said. The suspect approached a woman from behind and groped her, fleeing along Anderson Street when the victim yelled for help.

The suspect is described as a thin, white male in his early 20s, roughly 5-foot-8 and 150 pounds, with fair skin, dark hair, and dark eyes.

Police released surveillance video and two stills captured from the video. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit at 617-343-4400 or anonymously texting “TIP” to 27463.
