Man injured in accident at Quincy school construction site
A man who fell one story Monday after suffering an electrical shock at the construction site of the new Central Middle School in Quincy is in fair condition today at Boston Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The hospital identified the man as Antonio Deponte.
He was taken to the hospital around 3 p.m. with burns on one of his forearms and a head injury, Quincy Deputy Fire Chief Jeffrey Starr said.
“He apparently made contact with a power line, which shocked him and he fell,” Starr said.Todd Feathers can be reached at email@example.com. Follow him on Twitter @ToddFeathers.
