A male in his 30s was removed from the tracks near the Davis Square T station in Somerville at 11 a.m. Saturday morning and pronouced dead at a hospital, said Kelly Smith, MBTA deputy press secretary. For about two hours, shuttle buses ran between Harvard and Alewife T stations, Smith said, but normal service was restored at 1:20 p.m. The incident remains under investigation by the Transit Police, according to Smith. The man’s cause of death was not immediately availible.
