A man was arrested at Revere’s Squire Lounge on Sunday when police found the man armed with a BB gun and knife.
Robert Marley, 54, of Lynnfield, was arraigned Monday on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct, among other charges, according to Jake Wark, spokesman for the Suffolk County district attorney’s office.
A plea of not guilty was entered on Marley’s behalf and he was held on $1,000 cash bail, Wark said. He is due back in court July 24 for a pretrial hearing.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, Revere police arrived at the strip club after receiving a call about a fight in the parking lot, Wark said.
Marley and his brother-in-law, who was there to assist the allegedly intoxicated Marley home, were in the parking lot among witnesses. When the brother-in-law was escorting Marley out of the lounge he allegedly dropped the BB gun, swung a knife at two of the doormen, and then held the gun to the neck of a Winthrop man standing outside the lounge, Wark said.
Officers later found the knife in Marley’s pocket and the gun in the bed of his brother-in-law’s truck, Wark said.
Marley sustained a cut to his thumb, the only injury reported during the incident, Wark said.
