Lynn woman pushing baby in stroller dies after being hit by vehicle in store parking lot
A 60-year-old Lynn woman pushing a baby inside a stroller died after a vehicle backed into her in a store parking lot Sunday afternoon, police said. The baby was not injured but was taken to North Shore Medical Center in Salem for observation as a precaution, according to Lynn police Lieutenant David Brown. The identities of the woman and the driver were not released. The collision happened at about 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot outside of the Riverside Market at 826 Boston St. near the Lynn-Saugus line, Brown said.
