Forecasters warn of a frosty night in W. Mass.
Weren’t we just at the beach?
The National Weather Service this afternoon issued a frost advisory for northwestern Massachusetts and southwestern New Hampshire, saying temperatures there could drop into the 30s tonight.
In most other areas of the state, temperatures are expected to drop into the 40s.
Friday will begin cool, but sunny skies should boost temperatures into the upper 60s. Rain is unlikely, and dew points will remain in the 50s. Temperatures will drop into the 50s overnight.
Saturday will begin cool, but the sun will drive temperatures to around 80. Clouds will develop during the afternoon and linger into the night, and a spot shower is likely after 2 a.m. More sunshine is expected Sunday, and the vast majority of the state will remain dry. Scattered showers could pop up, but on the whole the day should be dry and pleasant.
