One nice day after another in the week’s forecast for Mass.
No real change in weather is expected through Monday, but with the cool, pleasant conditions we have been having, that’s certainly not bad news for Massachusetts.
Dry weather will last through into the weekend, with temperatures rising slightly each day through Monday, at least. Chilly morning temperatures will warm up in the afternoon to the upper 60s to low 70s, according to the National Weather Service.
“We will have a nice day, and a nice day, and then another nice day,” said Charlie Foley, Weather Service meteorologist.
Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 66 degrees. A light sea breeze will impact the coast, cooling temperatures a degree or two through the day. A few clouds will develop overnight, and temperatures will fall into the low 50s.
Sun and pleasant temperatures will return Thursday, with a high near 68. A few clouds will again develop overnight, with temperatures dipping into the 50s.
Friday will be mostly sunny, with clouds developing through the day. There is a slight chance of precipitation along the coast, but nothing more than a few sprinkles. Temperatures will reach into the upper 60s before falling into the low 50s overnight, according to the Weather Service.
Pleasant weather will last into the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday expected to be clear, sunny days. Temperatures will climb into the low 70s through the weekend, and rain is not expected.
Massachusetts could see some heavy showers early next week, as an approaching storm develops, but it could also miss the state entirely.
“There is an outside chance of a coastal storm grazing us Sunday into Monday,” Foley said. But conditions could stay nice; the storm itself has not organized yet.”Jasper can be reached at email@example.com or on Twitter @Jasper_Craven
