Man stabbed in downtown Boston suffers serious injuries, Boston police say
A man is in critical but stable condition after he was stabbed in downtown Boston just after midnight on Sunday, Boston police said.
The man, who is in his 30s, said he was stabbed near the intersection of Washington and Stuart streets at about 12:20 a.m. Sunday, police said.
The wounded man then walked about one block to Tufts Medical Center to receive treatment for his injuries, police said in a statement.
The man suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive, said Officer Nicole Grant.
