Boston police respond to report of person shot in W. Roxbury; victim’s injuries not life-threatening
Boston police responded to a report of person shot on Veterans of Foreign Wars Parkway near the West Roxbury-Dedham line late this afternoon, police said.
A victim was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, said Officer David Estrada, a police spokesman.
Police responded to reports of a person shot at 1460 VFW Parkway, Estrada said.
A crime scene has been established in Dedham, a short distance down the road from the VFW Parkway location.
A Dedham police dispatcher had no comment. State Police did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
