Two cars collide in Dorchester, one crashes into triple-decker

Two cars collided near the intersection of Harvard and Morton streets in Dorchester Saturday, sending one careening into a triple-decker home, State Police said. A 2006 Dodge Caravan driven by a 78-year-old Dorchester woman and a 1996 Toyota Camry by a 47-year-old woman from Mattapan struck each another around 2:25 p.m., said Trooper Reid Bagley, a State Police spokesman. The minivan then slammed into the nearby home, crushing the front of the van.
