Here's a take on the New Orleans Hurricane cocktail. Michael Pavone, beverage manager at the Cask 'n Flagon, shares this recipe for the Boston Hurricane:
-3/4 oz, Sailor Jerry rum
-3/4 oz, Captain Morgan White rum
-3/4 oz, Malibu Coconut rum
-3 oz, Juices of fresh oranges, lemons, limes (sliced for muddling)
-2 each, cherries
1) Muddle fresh oranges, lemons, limes and a cherry in a mixing glass.
2) Add in the trio of rums with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake.
3) Strain into a Hurricane glass over fresh ice.
4) Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry.
