Well, we may get a few of those, but guess what?! I like to invite these neighbors to attend my open houses! Why? Because they already love the neighborhood enough to live there and they might have friends and/or relatives who would like to live close by! As with any sales venue, it's about networking with the right targeted market and your neighbors may very well have access to your Buyer! So I always root for an open house as part of the marketing plan -- high-end houses as well as starter homes -- because it's a tool that works, as long as it's well-thought-out.
