Former Natick resident Cheryl Sternman Rule celebrated her new cookbook, “Ripe,” with a party at Les Zygomates earlier this week. ... Former Celtic Shaquille O’Neal, who’s been filming scenes for “Grown Ups 2” north of Boston, was spotted at the Bay Village restaurant Erbaluce on Wednesday night with his longtime girlfriend Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander. The couple was also at the new Revere Hotel. (While Shaq filmed, Hoopz did some shopping at LF on Newbury Street.) ... Hampshire House CEO Tom Kershaw, Mary Clivio of the TD Garden, and former Providence Mayor Buddy Cianci were some of the familiar faces who helped PR boss George Regan celebrate the launch of his sailboat in Newport on Wednesday night.
