Bruins forward Shawn Thornton looked like Peter Fonda in “Easy Rider” as he sat on one of the military-themed Dirico motorcycles that are being auctioned off as part of the New England Warrior Benefit, a fundraiser for wounded and fallen US Special Ops forces, organized by Fan Pier owner Joe Fallon. (The event takes place July 3 at the Seaport World Trade Center.) The five bikes represent different branches of the military, and were partly inspired by Aerosmith singer (and Dirico co-owner) Steven Tyler … Congrats to Tonya Chen Mezrich and husband, Ben, on the birth of baby No. 2. We’re told Arya Alexandra Mezrich arrived right on time at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She joins brother Asher. Tonya collaborates with designer Michael De Paulo while Ben is the author of “The Accidental Billionaires,” among other books...“Indiana Jones” actress Karen Allen had lunch at Cafeteria Monday … On his one-year anniversary as anchor of the “CBS Evening News,” Scott Pelley broadcast from Boston Monday. Tuesday, Pelley will speak at a business breakfast at the Westin Copley Place hosted by WBZ NewsRadio.
