The Provincetown International Film Festival kicked off on Wednesday night with a screening of a Kirsten Dunst movie and a party that drew P-Town royal and director John Waters. The opening-night film was “Bachelorette,” which features Dunst, Isla Fisher, and Lizzy Caplan. The film’s director and screenwriter, Leslye Headland, was in town for the screening and the opening-night party, which was held at Paramount nightclub at the Crown & Anchor. The festival continued on Thursday with a breakfast talk about short films. Panelists included prolific character actors Beth Grant and Dan Butler, as well as Movieline.com editor Brian Brooks.
