West Newbury’s John Cena grants 300th wish for Make-A-Wish Foundation

West Newbury-bred World Wrestling Entertainment star John Cena granted his 300th wish on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Monday. That’s a record for the organization; according to the Associated Press, Michael Jordan has granted about 200 wishes while Kobe Bryant has granted around 100. Cena, who appeared with wishmaker Jonny Littman on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, could use some positive press. Most of the stories about him these days involve his divorce from wife Elizabeth Huberdeau, whom he met in high school.
