Melissa McCarthy was spotted on the set of “The Heat” on Monday night. (Bauer Griffin)
Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups 2” is scheduled to film at the quarry in Westford this week. Local spectator Savanna Maybury tweeted on Tuesday, “The fact that Grown Ups 2 is being filmed behind my house in Westford right now >> #sosickk #quarries.” Well said. . . . The Sandra Bullock movie “The Heat” was still holding court around Dudley Square on Tuesday. As you’ve probably read in our Metro section, Bullock and her costar Melissa McCarthy have had an eventful few days in the neighborhood. Still, McCarthy keeps smiling. . . . Steve Carell, who’s filming “The Way, Way Back,” was spotted in Onset.
