Chris Noth heads to Nantucket for film benefit

“The Good Wife” and “Sex and the City” star Chris Noth will be on Nantucket on Aug. 4 as part of a benefit for the Dreamland Film & Performing Arts Center’s foundation and the movie “Northern Borders,” which stars Bruce Dern, Jessica Hecht, John Shea, and Geneviève Bujold. The film, which was made in Vermont and is based on the novel by Howard Frank Mosher, is in the post-production phase. Noth’s cocktail party and talk is open to the public for a donation to the cause. You can get in for $500. You can get VIP seats for $1,000. For $10,000 you get seats at a private dinner with Noth and an associate producer credit on the film. Noth got involved with the “Northern Borders” cause because he’s good a friend of director Jay Craven.
