‘Blog Will Hunting’ website tweets ‘Good Will Hunting.’ How do you like them apples?

Alex Meriwether and the folks behind Blog Will Hunting, a website dedicated to the now 15-year-old Boston movie “Good Will Hunting,” hosted a live Twitter event on Saturday for all fans (and skeptics) of the film that made Matt Damon and Ben Affleck Boston’s biggest celebrities. Meriwether asked everyone to get a copy of the movie, press play at exactly 2 p.m., and follow along as he and his cohorts tweeted the movie live.

We have to admit, it was amusing. Here are some of our favorite posts from the afternoon of commentary. If you’re a “Good Will Hunting” fan, you should be able to match the one-liners with the right scenes.

■  Sometimes we stare at light bulbs because we are sad geniuses. It’s kind of a Boston thing.
