Newton North’s Matt LeBlanc graduated with Louis C.K.
Newton native Matt LeBlanc had a brief reunion with former “Friends” costar Lisa Kudrow at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on Sunday. LeBlanc was there to promote his Showtime series, “Episodes.” Kudrow was there for her own Showtime comedy, “Web Therapy.” Kudrow isn’t the only old friend of LeBlanc’s at the TCAs this year. Turns out, LeBlanc graduated from Newton North High School with Louis C.K., whose show “Louie” is a hit on FX. “We weren’t best buddies, but we were in the same class of ’85,” said LeBlanc. “I had never even heard of him doing stand up. And then he got this show and I’m like ‘Hmmm, Louis C.K. that guy looks familiar.’ Then I saw him at the Emmys [last year] because we were both nominated and I finally bump into him and I was like ‘[expletive]!’ And he was like ‘I know!’ And we caught up, it was great.”
