Report: Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in Marblehead

With “Grown Ups 2” filming in the area, folks in Marblehead are getting used to seeing big-name celebrities wandering around. Still, it must have been strange this week when hip-hop star Kanye West and his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, strolled into the Eastern Yacht Club. Our source didn’t see the couple, but said they slipped into the club Wednesday for a meeting with actress Salma Hayek’s husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, the billionaire businessman who runs the French company PPR. (Its holdings include luxury brands Yves Saint Laurent, Sergio Rossi, Boucheron, and Gucci.) Contacted Friday, a club receptionist said she “shouldn’t talk” about Kanye and Kim’s visit. But Radar.com reports that the couple is launching a line of designer shoes, and may want Pinault to be an investor. (Pinault is in Marblehead because Hayek, along with Adam Sandler, David Spade, and Chris Rock, is one of the stars of “Grown Ups 2.”) We were also told West dropped by the new Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt shop in Marblehead, but the owner told us if the Grammy winner was in, he didn’t see him.
