BU grads find each other on set of ‘Vegas’

Local guy Michael Chiklis isn’t the only Boston University grad involved with the show “Vegas,” which stars Dennis Quaid and premieres this fall on CBS. Director Gary Fleder, who graduated from BU the same year as Chiklis (1985), has also been on set directing the drama. Fleder has also directed shows written by BU grad Scott Rosenberg, including “Life on Mars” and “October Road.” He also directed the pilot for “Boston’s Finest,” which was filmed around town in 2010, and was almost a regular ABC cop show.
