It seems Taylor Swift has already won over the Kennedy clan. TMZ caught up with former congressman Patrick Kennedy in Charlotte, N.C., where he’s attending the Democratic National Convention, and Ted Kennedy’s kid said the family is delighted that Swift is dating Conor Kennedy, the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. “We love Taylor Swift,” said Patrick. “She’s been a great friend and we’re happy for Conor. . . . If she wants to be in the family, she’s already a part of it.” She may at least be in the neighborhood of the family. Rumors persist that Swift has bought a house next door to Conor’s grandmother, Ethel Kennedy.
