WWE star John Cena takes time out for a good cause
In town for the WWE Night of Champions event, West Newbury-bred beefcake John Cena took time out to pose for photos and chat with breast cancer survivors at a VIP gathering for the Bay State affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. (The WWE gang, including Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo, R-Truth, Tensai, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, and Rey Mysterio headed to the Kowloon after the event at the Garden.) . . . Chef Lydia Shire helped celebrate the Millennium Bostonian Hotel’s 30th birthday with the hotel’s architect Sy Mintz and developer Arthur Winn. Shire opened Seasons restaurant in the hotel in 1982 with her friend and business partner Jasper White. . . . “The Voice” contestant James Massone was crooning at the annual bocce tourney in the North End. . . . Former LAPD chief Bill Bratton and wife Rikki Klieman celebrated Bratton’s father’s 81st birthday at Pier 4.
