“Anderson Live” host Anderson Cooper is giving some love to local pizza restaurant Salvatore’s and its new, adult menu. After hearing about executive chef Victor Paone’s new “21+” pizzas, which are made with alcohol, Cooper’s producers asked if the liquor pies could be sent down to the show. Paone wound up driving down to New York himself on Tuesday with nine pizzas (three of each kind) in tow. Producers told Paone (far right, with Cooper) that they’ll feature the alcohol slices on the show on Oct. 17. The menu includes the “Drunken Pig” pizza, which is topped with Kahlua-marinated braised pork, ricotta cheese, caramelized Granny Smith apples, mozzarella cheese, and spicy hot honey.
