Brigham and Women’s Hospital held a fund-raiser at the InterContinental Hotel Saturday benefiting the hospital’s community health programs, and the star of the show was “Smash” actress Megan Hilty, who sang a few songs. The crowd included BWH president Dr. Betsy Nabel, Partners HealthCare CEO Gary Gottlieb, and event co-chairs John and Cyndy Fish, Rob and Karen Hale, Scott and Heidi Schuster, Steve and Judy Kaye, and Beth and Carmine Martignetti. . . . Developer Bob Beal was honored at the American Jewish Committee’s awards dinner the other night at The Fairmont Copley Plaza. Guests included Beal’s mentor Norman Leventhal, state treasurer Steve Grossman, dinner co-chairs Mark Goldweitz, Paul Grogan, Andrew Jaffe, and Robert Mahoney, and Charlie Baker, Martha Chayet, the Rev. Demetrios Tonias, and Beal’s beloved Yorkshire terrier Monty, all of whom enjoyed a performance, at Beal’s request, by violinist Yevgeny Kutik.
